Welcome to CDL ART — the personal website of Christian D. Lindner, a Buffalo-born artist whose creative path began in graphic design at Villa Maria College and RIT and evolved into a deeply expressive pursuit.

His latest mission is to revive the lost copper glow that once defined Buffalo’s architecture and bring that shine back into modern city and suburban décor. This vision debuted in 2025 at Crescendo Lofts with Copper Eyes WNY—an 8x8 ft mural commissioned by Natale Builders benefiting 'Stars of Hope'.

Since then, his copper-inspired theme has appeared at Buffalo Fashion Runway’s Main Block Party with artisan items, Music Is Art where he created a 15-foot mural depicting parts of Buffalo as if gleaming in copper once again and at an educational workshop for Old Firstwards Art & Heritage community festival!

Through his handyman cleaning copper work and social media, Wny'ers are reimagining Buffalo’s radiant past. Be sure to follow the fun on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube thus far.

In C.D.L.’s past he has been featured nationally in Urban Outfitters (for an illustrated humor book rated 4.7/5 on Amazon), in Chicago helping campaigns for SoBe and regionally, his first mural appeared at The Hatch at Erie Basin Marina. He’s designed print ads for the Decorators’ Show House, spoken for the Interior Design Association of WNY about the importance of the business card and you can see more in the gallery section of this site!

Christian has also served on committees for Rock the Barn and the Brian Dux Assist Fund, and now dedicates much of his time to mentoring individuals with disabilities, helping them pursue meaningful, creative goals.
